Welcome to Taylormade – you may not know it but we’ve been working in your neighborhood for over 35 years!
Started by Howard and Maureen Taylor in 1976, we remain a family owned and operated business dedicated to your ultimate satisfaction. Our plan is not to be the largest cabinet company in the Naperville area – only the best.
Our humble beginnings began in a basement and then expanded into our 420 square foot garage on West Jefferson in Naperville. Equipped with a used Sears table saw, a router and a few hand tools, we started refinishing and building kitchen cabinets and countertops. It didn’t take long for word to spread that there was a small cabinet company in town that did beautiful work at reasonable prices. We’ve since grown into our 4,000 square foot shop on West Fifth Avenue in Naperville where we build and finish our custom cabinetry. We also have a 1,000 square foot showroom on Ogden Avenue where our customers can actually see and feel the quality of our work.
It’s no secret that our success is dependent on a few very talented people.
Mark has been part of our team for over 25 years. His quality workmanship, neatness and uncompromising attention to detail has actually made customers sad that their job was coming to an end!
Matt, our shop foreman is truly a master cabinetmaker. For over 15 years Matt has been our shop superman and in the last ten years, a wood finishing expert, constantly learning about the latest techniques and finishes available.
Randy has been with Taylormade for over 8 years. He completed the EKD / M.L. Campbel wood finishing program in 2008. Specializing in cabinet finishing and wood cabinet refacing, Randy has become a valuable member of our team.
Add the fact that we use only the finest materials including cabinet grade hardwoods and plywood, (particleboard with hot glue and staples need not apply), it’s no wonder that our best salesmen are our own customers!

Because we build and install our own quality cabinetry, we don’t have to mark up costs 50 -300 percent to cover huge sales commissions and high overhead costs.
